You say you have MMKC? If you're lucky its mskey.exe diagnostic tool may help show what is going on. Hopefully not but as long as you are grasping at straws I think that would be reasonable guess to test. You know perversely there may be a possibility that your real keyboard's NumLock is tied does it look like the OSK (osk.exe) with Numeric keypad enabled or disabled? Take a look at your OSK. Your laptop's keyboard doesn't have a navigation section. does your BIOS have options such as make Fn keys normal F1 - F12 so you don't have to press Fn all the time? Then perhaps there would be another one about this. Yes but I would also wonder about BIOS options. Hopefully someone else has had a similar problem - thanks for any input.
